Twisted Leaf Food Co-op is a consumer-owned cooperative working to open a pilot store in Albuquerque, focusing on natural food and healthy food options serving the International District La Mesa community. The store will provide and promote healthy, affordable, sustainably-sourced, and local food options.
The Food Co-op won’t be just another grocery store! It will be a community directed market that will bring fresh, healthy and locally produced foods of the highest quality to our city and state.
Similar to an indoor farmers’ market, our Co-op will make local produce, dairy, poultry, seafood and meat accessible year-round. This will support the sustainability of our farmers/growers and local economy, as well as the health of our community.

Offering locally and regionally grown produce, meats, dairy, and value added textiles, soaps, herbs, spices, jewelry, art, and fine arts to the local community.
